So yesterday I made eclairs from my Harry Potter cookbook. They were so good and every last one of them were gone. My first batch I made too skinny but the second batch was perfect. Nice an puffed. I put the filling in the big ones and mom came up with the idea of dipping the little ones in the cream. Mom says I can start baking whenever I want (after school of course) all I have to do is tell her what ingredients to stock up on. Now I am hopeing to do at least one new recipe every other week. So check in soon for updates and pics. I will post the recipe soon.
Hi!
ReplyDeleteAs I didn't know if you would be notified if I answer to your comment on my blog, I just thought, I'd comment here :)
I'm very sorry that I actually can't share my patterns for the Lord of the Rings dresses, because they're bought. The patterns I used were Simplicity 4940 and McCall's 4492 (which is unfortunately out of print). The tunic was actually made from the Simplicity pattern as well.
And really, if you plan on making a few medieval costumes, buying a simple basic pattern like the ones I have is actually a good idea. Just by altering little things you can make the most unique and interesting gowns (or tunics... :) ).
All the best,
Sarah
